ZYC-DIV-001 Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Policy

Purpose

To promote a fair, inclusive, and respectful working environment where all people are treated equally and valued for their contribution. This policy supports the FCA’s expectations on culture, fairness, and the duty to act with integrity and respect.

Scope

Applies to all Zeyro employees, directors, contractors, and applicants. It covers recruitment, training, promotion, pay, and all workplace interactions.

Policy Statement

Zeyro’s culture is calm, fair, and collaborative. We believe diverse teams make better decisions and reflect the society our work serves. We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or unfair treatment on the basis of age, disability, gender, gender identity, marital status, pregnancy, race, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

All employment and development decisions are based solely on merit, skills, and alignment with Zeyro’s values.

Key Principles

  1. Equal Opportunity Recruitment and promotion decisions are based on objective criteria and merit.

  2. Inclusive Workplace We aim for flexible working arrangements that respect individual needs and enable everyone to succeed.

  3. Respect and Dignity Every colleague has the right to work without harassment or intimidation. Concerns will be taken seriously and investigated promptly under the Whistleblowing Policy (ZYC-WHB-001) if necessary.

  4. Representation and Accountability The Board monitors equality and diversity data periodically to ensure fairness and access to opportunity. Outcomes are discussed as part of the firm’s annual cultural review.

  5. Accessibility Systems, policies, and communications are designed to be accessible to all staff. Reasonable adjustments are made for any individual requiring support.

Implementation

  • Recruitment materials use inclusive language and are reviewed for bias.

  • Shortlists and interview panels seek diversity of background and perspective.

  • The Board monitors potential equality risks, including pay consistency and representation, and oversees any remedial actions.

Controls risk: reinforces fairness and inclusivity, ensuring decisions align with FCA cultural expectations and employment law.

Review

This policy is reviewed annually or after any significant organisational or legal change relating to equality or workplace conduct.
